After years of searching, I had given up on my hopes of discovering the sweet, strawberry scented puffed breakfast treat that was Strawberry Shortcake cereal. That is, until I purchased Special K's fruit & yogurt the other day on a whim (I also picked up the Life vanilla yogurt crunch, which doesn't remind me of childhood but is quite tastey). It's the adult version! It even turns the milk pink! I clearly wasn't as devoted as these people to bringing back SSC, but thank you, General Mills, for putting the taste of childhood happiness back into my cereal bowl.
