I've decided that Tom needs a man bag for Christmas. Nothing fancy, just something beyond a canvas sack or plastic Shaws bag. I'm thinking one of these Manhattan Portage bags might do just the trick. Like the small nylon messenger:
I'd get it in either black or navy. Or possibly the DJ bag. In fact, I quite like the idea of my dad being a DJ. He could rock the local 99 on Saturday afternoons with the transcendent beats of Simon & Garfunkel or Fleetwood Mac. After he finishes his yard work, of course.

The 99 is a big night out for my parents. I ordered the other one but maybe I'll sneak some giant headphones in - just to drop the hint.
