Paul has survived his kid packed-weekend! We had a baby shower yesterday, and this morning we went to a 3-year-old's birthday party. There was a puppy theme, complete with little furry guests.
Here is the birthday girl (wearing a shirt that says, "I'm this many" and a hand holding up 3 fingers):
She's washing her doggy, Clio. All the kids got to take home a stuffed dog, complete with an "adoption" certificate and doggie bowl (which doubled as an ice cream dish for make-your-own sundaes!). There was a big kennel and a real dog house, face painting, and headbands with puppy ears. All the fun and games left everyone tuckered out:
The only thing missing was a team of counselors explaining to the parting guests that just because mommy and daddy weren't letting them adopt one of these loving face lickers does not mean they don't love them.
